Early Childhood Curriculum

At Busy Bees Christian Preschool your child's early childhood learning experience will prepare them with a solid Biblical and academic foundation in preparation for elementary school. We use the Award Winning Sonlight curriculum to teach History, Geography, Literature, and phonics.

Horizons math is used to teach numbers and mathematics, and Handwriting Without Tears to teach letter recognition, language skills, and handwriting.

Cait's Curriculum is a fantastic faith based early childhood curriculum which provides an extraordinary number of fun filled learning activities.

In addition, your child will learn about Jesus Christ through daily Bible stories, songs, art, and memorization. In addition, your child will be taught Spanish on a daily basis.

Busy Bees Christian Preschool has implemented an exciting, fun preschool program that will open the door for your child to play, craft, sing, learn, and speak Spanish. We are dedicated to optimizing your child's complete development.

The Sonlight Curriculum: Sonlight is a literature-based curriculum that ties together multiple subjects so learning is connected and more memorable. It is designed to get your child out of boring textbooks and into literature. Sonlight has lots of Newberry award winners, classic literature, and other historical fiction scheduled around various themes. A sample of yearly “Core” themes include:

Core programs include History, Read-Alouds, Readers, and Bible, with Science & Horizons Math. By the time your child graduates from Busy Bees Christian Preschool he/she will be doing the Sonlight curriculum on a Kindergarten level!
