Little Bees

Ages 2 years 6 months to about 3 years 3 months

Class Description

Our mission for the Little Bees is to facilitate the development of social skills and academic progress with a firm Christian foundation. We plan to accomplish this by providing a safe, loving, Christian atmosphere. We will demonstrate the use of age appropriate play and social interaction as well as challenging the children academically on a daily basis.

Purpose

• Give children a clear understanding of salvation
• Teach children to be independent and responsible
• Develop social skills
• Academic excellence

Vision

• Children will actively participate in Bible lesson.
• Children will discuss Bible at home and recite memory verses.
• Children will be responsible for their work, and day to day activities.
• Children will dress themselves.

• Children will self-soothe, use their manners, share and use words to solve problems.
• Children will identify, recognize sounds of, and write letters.
• Children will identify, count and understand the concepts of numbers 1-20.
• Children will recite basic Spanish words.

Mission

• Study Bible story in preparation to teach Bible lesson.
• Teach exciting and innovative lessons.
• Keep children involved in the lesson.
• Demonstrate how to clean up and dress themselves.
• Encourage students through praise consistently.
• Always be positive and use lots of praise and encouragement.
• Demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
• Teach in a fun and exciting way.
• Use books, props, and games.
• Keep a structured schedule.
