Wee Bees
Ages 18 to 29 Months
Class Description
In the Wee Bees room we have many goals so that the children can grow spiritually and cognitively to be prepared for higher levels of achievement. Students will develop an understanding of Christ and simple bible stories, shapes, colors, letters, and numbers as well as be able to follow simple directions. Children will acquire language skills through dramatic play, role play, and imitating behaviors. They will be able to answer who, what, when, where questions, take turns, refer to self by name and use language to describe or fulfill basic needs. They will also develop self help skills such as toilet training, dressing, and feeding self. All children are encouraged to know that God created them and are loved by him and he created this world for us to explore as Christians.
Purpose
Provide a quality Christian education for the children God has placed in the care of Busy Bees. Each child will develop cognitive skills needed to progress to higher levels. We believe that teaching and learning should be accomplished through the cooperative effort of both teachers and parents.
