The Goop Effect

I remember the day like it was yesterday.  10 years ago Gwyneth Paltrow wrote about busy bees in her newly launched Goop newsletter and single handedly changed our lives forever.  Until that point Busy Bees was a little known collection of preppy styles that was loved by a few loyal friends and family.  Until then we had a tough time getting stores and the press to take our calls.  But that was then.....


I was awoken at 6 a.m. when the piece hit the net and immediately my blackberry was in overdrive beeping every 3 seconds with online orders pouring into our very basic and clunky website (this was before e-commerce was really a thing).  Vogue called in pieces for a photo shoot and Neiman Marcus finally returned our call.  My head was spinning.  They came for Apple's favorite....and stayed for more. 

This month we celebrated our 12th birthday and in honor of that incredible moment that put us on the map we are excited to re-release a limited collection of our beloved loungewear collection including Apple's favorite style a sweet ruffle peter pan collar top with drawstring ruffle pants...too cute to just wear at home! Thank you Gwyneth...we love Goop!  xo MB
