San Francisco, September 26, 2013- Launching today ongoop.com, in collaboration with Busy Bees, is a seasonal appropriate collection for kids to wear now through the fall.

“Buy-now-wear-now” is the new buzz in fashion retailing. And while most retailers are stocking traditional fall clothes, kids aren’t quite ready to throw on coats and wool sweaters just yet. The Busy Bees for goop collection embraces this new approach to delivering clothes in the seasons shoppers actually need them by offering key pieces that take children from warm weather to the season’s first chill. “We’re excited to be working with goop to showcase classic-chic wardrobe staples that moms are in search of now,” says busy bees founder and designer Maryam Barrett. “There are those Supermoms who are good at planning their family’s wardrobes ahead of season. But most of us shop for our kids out of an immediate necessity usually before an event or occasion such as back-to-school or a vacation,” she adds. “So often clothes are put out on the selling floor months before the season officially begins so when it comes time to actually finding what you need they’re long gone.”

Busy Bees was first featured in a goop newsletter on kids clothes in 2011 and was described by goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow as “clothes my kids want to wear”, so it was a natural partnership when it came time to showcasing a kids collection to bring goop’s vision to life.
